“My Fem!Shep always has Garrus by her side, no matter what the circumstance... well, except the suicide mission where he had to lead the other teams. I'm too much of a Garrus fangirl to leave him idle in the Normandy while my Fem!Shep goes off on her missions, plus he's pretty useful with his Overload and Armor Piercing Ammo skills.

Since they're always together, I decided to customize my Fem!Shep's armor and make it have the same color scheme as Garrus'. She's also wearing a visor similar to his. I've always thought that Garrus' visor looked cool, so I was really happy that there was one for Shepard.

The N7 Visor isn't just for fangirl/aesthetic purposes though; I like aiming for my opponent's heads, and the N7 Visor provides a bonus to headshot damage.

Head shot bonus ftw I get them on my char (infiltrator) too ^.^ looks really cool. Btw really good looking char, it's custom right ?

@AndyO: Same here! :)
@viviboy: Yep. :) I made her in ME1 and imported her to ME2 without any changes, then I spent some time recustomizing her for my second playthrough of ME2. BioWare's default female Shepard looks awful, IMO. :p

@elgosh Totally agree with you both BioWare's defoult chars (my opinion for male). It's absolutely different feeling and experience if you have done ME1 and ME2 on your char.

@viviboy Well, I prefer the original Shepard (Male version)... I think my own version is the brother of Jenkins (the soldier who died on Eden Prime)... :P

I tried getting a custom Male Shepard to look good, but they all look terrible, so I always defaulted, my Females both look unique, my Renegade is pale white with black hair and black armor, while my neutral female has the reflective redish looking armor and red hair. I choose the Dr. Chakwas hairstyle for my Renegade this time around.

Yeah, I also love that visor headpiece, on a Infiltrator its ungodly strong, with the Assassin upgrade power, cloaked, and all the armor pieces that improve weapon damage I can one shot kill a fully shielded enemy with a head shot.

@Mishy thats what I'm playing right now, female Soldier, tho I'm at Freedoms progress and every time I see my character in a cut scene I'm like... "Omg.. I made a young Dr. Chakwas.." I took her hairstyle, but then realized her eyes are the same as well. Might be starting over with a different look tho.
@elgosh I'm kinda the opposite, I'm a Tali fan, she was always in my party in ME1, and I rushed to get her in ME2. The only time I parted with her was when she went through the maitenance tunnel in the Suicide mission, however unlike Thane, she didn't get killed by a headshot :D. She was my romance target for my Male shepard. Garrus was my original female Shepards choice, cept... he didn't make it through the mission.

@elgosh Felt the same way with Tali, when Garrus was killed on my Female characters, I was lilke "Dammit, spent all that time wooing him and he gets killed by the seeker swarm".

I do like the option when you beat the game to call your chosen lover to your room for couch/bed cuddling, Tali looks cute snuggled against Shepards arm :). Suppose I should reload the Female shepards save and try saving Garrus this time.

@Neodarkside: You know, I've seen lots of people discussing how Garrus died on them, and all of them said it was because the the Seeker swarm. :| What happened in your suicide mission? Did he stay out of the biotic barrier for too long or something?

Oh, I love that option too! Seeing my Fem!Shep cuddling with Garrus always puts a smile on my face. The chatting-while-sitting-on-the-couch bit is cute too. XD

@elgosh Miranda faltered and he didn't get through the door. Everyone survived with Samara as the Biotic tho.

@Neodarkside: From what I've read, Miranda isn't really a good choice for the biotic shield bit; the only people who are suitable are Jack and Samara (provided that they're loyal). I used Miranda for the distraction team and that worked out fine.

The options are supposedly Tali/Legion for the vents, Garrus/Miranda for the fire or distraction teams, and Samara/Jack for biotic shields. And anyone can do the escort thing, but I opted to use Jacob for it because... uh... I dunno, it was a random choice at the time. LOL.

@Mishy: Yep, I've read that squad upgrades help increase your squad members' chances of survival. I got all the squad upgrades before going through the suicide mission just to be on the safe side. :p

@Mishy:Yep, I got the weapon upgrades for the squad members too. Grunt had a shotgun upgrade, and Mordin had an omni-tool upgrade. I don't remember all the upgrades specifically; I just got all the upgrades available (except the Med Bay thing...my Fem!Shep doesn't need surgery LOL).

First trip was Thane in vents (died), Tali and Garrus with me and Jacob on strike team. Then I choose Miranda as the biotic, Garrus and Tali with me, Garrus died. Mordin did the escort and they made it back.

2nd trip on a new character, Tali in vents, Garrus leading the strike team, and Legion and Samara with me. Samara on Biotics, Tali and Grunt on my team with Jacob on the strike team, and once again Mordin leading the escorts. Everyone lived.

@elgosh oh jebus EVERY upgrade? I normally just get most of the ship (minus med bay, to expensive)

and I get maybe the shotgun and widow rifle upgrade for Legion and Grunt didn't know they actually made a diffrence lol

apparantly doesn't work that way without Jacks biotic upgrade and her not being loyal

@elgosh btw did you see the Garrus Lithograph that Bioware is selling yet? http://biowarestore.com/mass-effect/mass-effect-art/me2-garrus-lithograph Only one problem with it, it shows Garrus how you first meet him, but he's wearing his damaged outfit.

Waiting for a tali one, they got a nearly nekkid Jack one but no Tali! http://biowarestore.com/mass-effect/mass-effect-art/me2-jack-lithograph Thats jacks, artist took creative liberty on her tattoos.

@Mishy Um... red mark on his cheek? Where are you seeing this? In Garrus' pic, it shows him sitting on that couch right after he takes off his helmet revealing who is his. But in that part of the game Garrus is uninjured and his armor is intact.

Yeah looking at that, however to me it looked like it was just the artists use of colors, but now I suppose that could be his scaring. Granted, it could also just be Garrus sitting down in any building in the same pose, might not be the apartments on Omega.

@AndyO Its actually pretty easy. Send Tali through the tube, Garrus or Jacob leading the 2nd team, both of them are veterans on the battlefield it says under their bios. I've chosen Mordin both times for the return trip escorting the crew members and Samara or Jack for the Biotic, Amanda will get people killed. Then ask people to defend the door, not Hurry up. Viola, everyone lives.

@Mishy Might give him a shot this time around, just when I was doing my 2nd playthrough on my Manshep Infiltrator I wanted to make sure everyone lived, so when Mordin made it the first time, decided to go for it again the 2nd time. Might try and see if I can botch the mission one of these runs. Send Grunt down the tube, maybe Legion as the strike team, Samara (Morinth) as the escort, Miranda as the Biotic, then tell everyone to hurry up, see who makes it out alive.

Maybe (with my own profile), I'll make sure everyone dies except 2 members or so... Just to see how BAD it really can go AND still have a good ending (except the funeral scene at the end)... That was really a shocking one... :(

@AndyO Heh, if you lose alot of people through the mission, you might not make it to that funeral scene, Shepard can die during that little cut scene, he doesn't make the jump. Viola, Voila, take your pick :P.
